Very large wash-fountain in stone

Large and wide wall-fountain. This unique piece entirely composed of antique materials is very original with its two stone basins. Those basins are rectangular and are topped by copings (usually used for wash-houses). Water spills over the antique metal water outlet into the smallest basin with its bucket-rest bars and then falls into the biggest one. The wall piece is topped by a cornice with thorough moldings. The back center post has a sculpted centerpiece and is topped by a headpiece.

The antique copings have been used for years by our washerwomen since the 19th century and give to the whole fountain a great authenticity!
