17th century rustic antique stone fireplace.

This small 17th century, Louis XIV style antique countryside white stone fireplace has a lovely rustic appearance and features a pair of straight console-shaped jambs that sit on thick rectangular foot blocks. The monolithic lintel is very simple and is topped by an ogee cornice.

Unassembled in a house situated in the East part of France, this very simple fireplace offers a beautiful light patina. It will easily outfit your living space no matter your decorating style.  You can use it as an open-hearth fireplace or as a closed hearth one (with an insert).
