Antique signed cast iron fire back: Columns, vases and crown ** SOLD

This antique cast iron fire back has a rectangular shape. Centered by a frame it is decorated with a pair of carved columns shaped into a pin. Each column is surmounted by a flowery vase and a small bird. In the center, a magnificent medallion made of pearls and decorated with branches of olive trees highlight a bouquet of flowers. At the bottom left, the fire back is stamped with the initials "PL", those of the craftsman who created it.
