Ancient riveted wrought iron gate painted in blue with two doors

This elegant little antique gate is made of riveted wrought-iron. Riveting is an ancient blacksmith's technique of assembling metal parts using a tool called a rivet thus allowing permanent fixing of metallic objects (a technique derived from the manufacture of nails).

This gate consists of two semi-openwork doors. Each door features a paneled lower part decorated in its center with 2 embedded diamonds. The openwork top part is beautiful with its fine square iron bars beautifully worked and finished by stunning points forged in the shape of lily flowers.

This gate is exposed on our landscaped 3-hectares park located near Avignon with the pair of ancient stone pillars referenced MAPI49 (sold separately). It is sold in its juice.
