Antique massive yet shallow sink in patinated stone : a typically Provencal stone sink

This rustic-looking sink in natural stone is in fact a traditional Provencal stone sink. This type of shallow sink was once installed in all the farmhouses in our beautiful region of Provence.

Carved out from a single block of hard stone, the sink also called "pile provençale" is flat and very shallow. Its outer edges are rough and its patina is natural. The inner sink which presents nicely rounded edges measures 86cm x 48cm and already has a drainage hole at the back.

Ideal for an outdoor kitchen or for being installed in a vegetable patch to rinse your vegetables and gardening tools !
