Pair of large reclaimed Medici style vases in weathered stone

Resting on a 40 x 40cm square base, the molded pedestal is sculpted with fine grooves. On each side of the vase, a large handle is decorated with 2 faun heads sculpted in relief. The lower part of the vase is decorated with opulent gadroons and, on the top of the vase, a garland representing a vine trellis with bunches of grapes and leaves is finely chiseled. The upper edge flares into a molded rim which is carved with cat's tongue motifs.

As each vase is already fitted with a small drainage hole, they could easily be diverted into sustainable and sturdy planters to welcome your most beautiful flowers and plants !
