This large old stone Catholic cross resting on a massive molded pedestal in patinated stone is a beautiful monolithic cross of over 1 meter high which testifies, like so many others, to a long religious past.

These crosses were often placed to delimit the vast domains belonging to the Church, thus delimiting the districts for the payment of tithes.

This elegant stone cross beautifully aged and patinated by time, a sober and charming rustic Christian cross, has been hand-carved with thick moldings all around. The letters "INRI" have been carved on the upper part.
