Exceptional reclaimed gate in open-worked and riveted wrought iron

This beautiful wrought ironwork entirely assembled with hot-stamped rivets, an old wrought iron gate, has been salvaged from Château Maucoil (Provence). It was then used as a window defense grille.

Probably dating from the end of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century, it has been forged in riveted flat iron. Only the vertical bars are made of solid square iron.

This reclaimed door gate features a beautiful forged decor of volutes and tori.

Why not transform it into a door for the entrance to a cellar for example ? Or use it as a gate to delimit the access to a vegetable garden or a swimming pool.

In very good condition.
