Antique brown wrought iron gate for pillars : openwork double-door reclaimed gate

This antique openwork wrought iron gate has 2 doors. Rather rustic-looking, this reclaimed double-door gate is nonetheless charming !


Each door is a rectangular structure composed of square vertical bars (2.1cm x 2.1cm), thick flat wrought iron horizontal bars and round wrought iron vertical bars. The upper part of these bars ends in beautifully hand-forged arrowheads. Halfway up, a horizontal crosspiece incorporates a decorative motif in flat wrought iron. At the top of the central left leaf is a magnificent forged scroll in relief.

This charming small-size antique gate will undoubtedly enhance your outdoors ! Imagine it with a pair of weathered stone pillars.
 

Note the slight oxidation and the nice rusty brown color. A forged flower is missing from the centerpiece of the decorative band on the right leaf.
