Black marble French Restauration mantle
This beautiful antique marble mantle of the French Restauration style: between the date of the first abdication of Napoleon Bonaparte (April 1814 - March 1815) and the fall of the First Empire until the Three Glorious Days of July 29, 1830.
This mantle perfectly adopts the profile of the 19th century furniture design. It is a console-like mantle. The jambs have a curved upper part. They are topped by square blocks in which is embedded the fascia that has replaced the lintel. The shelf, without any molding, is designed as a table top.
A very beautiful antique fireplace, full of charm and history, made of a beautiful black marble with white touches.
