Antique rotisserie counterweight

This antique counterweight rotisserie is quite rare. It was originally wall-mounted and was subsequently fixed to a wrought iron base.

The principle of the counterweight rotisserie is based on the winding of a rope around a shaft. A weight attached to the end of the rope drives a gear which then rotates the spit.

This rotisserie will allow you to cook slowly and consistently good poultry. It will also give a very friendly appearance to the kitchen!
