Antique rotisserie counterweight

Antique rotisserie made of wrought iron and wood. A rotisserie is used to cook meat (whole or cuts) by slowly and steadily rotating it on a spindle with a crank and a clock mechanism actuated by a weight.

This beautiful antique object is sold as is with a 4 branches regulator, worm, wrought iron cage with patina, pulleys, wheels and pinion gears in running condition and antique wood crank and drum. Note the fastening tabs that will allow you to fix it in the chimney or hang it on a wall.

A friendly way to slowly and steadily cook meat.
