Antique cast iron fireback: Caravel depiction

Beautiful antique cast iron fireback. This hearth fireback depicts a maritime scene: in the center, sailing on the waves, a pretty sailing boat style 3-masted boat or caravel. You can also see a marine anchor, a lighthouse, the setting sun and a star.

This beautiful fireback dates from the 20th century. It was made in France. It is in perfect condition.
