High antique cast-iron fire-back depicting a flame-ornament.

This very beautiful antique cast iron fire-back dates back to the 20th century and comes from a French foundry.  

This high fire-back demonstrates a skilled cast-ironwork with its double protruding rim that perfectly highlights the central flame-ornament. Some curling smoke is coming out of the vase that rests on very elegant base. The background features a beautiful grid with floral motifs.

Good state of preservation. It can be placed in front of a hearth or a fireplace but it can also be used as a decorative element in your living space.
