Antique rustic trough in worn and patinated stone
This old rectangular stone trough was once a food pantry recovered in a farmhouse in Provence : we can still see the small holes around its top edges where was attached the wooden lid aimed to keep food dry and avoid that rodents of all kinds come and help themselves !
This ancient monolith trough reminds us of the old times and the rural life of our ancestors !
It is wide and deep enough to ba used as a massive stone planter, ideal for example, to plant small trees, beautiful hydrangeas or pretty plants. Note that this tank is already equipped with a small drain hole at the bottom.
