Large fountain with low basin in old molded stones and large pediment with Aeolus' head

Large wall fountain in beautiful old stones.

The rectangular basin is quite low and is formed of thick and wide molded copings which rest on large basement stones carved in concave and sculpted with moldings.
The tall paired stone pediment is nicely decorated and is adorned with a recessed molded breastplate, side pilasters sculpted in relief and, as a water outlet, a magnificent head representing Aeolus (the ruler of the winds in the Greek mythology) hand carved in stone. The beautiful overhanging cornice carved with fine moldings enhances the entire piece.

This imposing stone garden fountain is a unique model and a very beautiful crafted creation, ideal to enhance and embellish a large garden.
