Large antique bronze bell

This beautiful old thick bronze bell dating from the 19th Century is in very good condition. It was reclaimed from a small chapel in Brittany.

It is sold with its original clapper and its handle (allowing it to be attached to a yoke).

This large bell (30 cm in diameter at the base) has a very nice ringing tone.

The bell is one of the oldest sound instruments that we know. All civilizations and all religions have used this means to gather the faithful.
