Reclaimed massive trough ins tone sold with its old wooden lid

This large old trough in bush-hammered cut stone is a large rectangular monolithic reclaimed tough that has been carved into a firm limestone which now bears a beautiful weathered-look. It is supplied with its magnificent patinated wooden cover. 

This massive trough used to served as a food pantry : food was stored inside away from light, humidity and rodents.
Now, it could easily be diverted into a sturdy planter or transformed in a rustically charming fountain-style water feature.

This trough is wide and deep enough to plant, for example, small fruit trees like an olive tree, a lemon tree or an orange tree.
