This beautiful Gothic Style antique cast iron fire back for fireplace looks like a shed.
This antique fire back feature Gothic Coat of Arms highlighted by a thick twisted rope frame. We particularly note the orb at the bottom, as well as the little rope topped by fleurs-de-lis, the six fleurs-de-lis around it and the 2 coats of arms decorated with a dolphin (a kind of crested and barbed fish).
These fleurs-de-lis are the symbol of the Holy Trinity. They are the ancestor of the modern fleurs-de-lis, a royal emblem.They were part of the esoteric writing of the first Christians who recognized themselves by the abbreviations woven on their clothes.
