Elegant French Louis XV wedding Fireplace with trumeau in white limestone

Bring authenticity and charm to your interior with this stunning white stone wedding fireplace, a true centerpiece with a unique historical and artistic character.

This exceptional Louis XV wedding-style fireplace was crafted from white limestone quarried in Sainte-Hermine, Vendée. Carefully hand-sculpted, it features a wealth of intricate details.

Its thin, straight jambs support a gracefully curved arbalette-style lintel, adorned at its center with a hand-sculpted heart (a symbol of a wedding gift). The hearth is framed by subtle rope moldings, typical of the Louis XV style.
The trumeau is finely sculpted with slender vertical column moldings, hand-carved circular rosettes on each side, a beautifully molded raised frame, moldings and curves. The gently rounded cornice, enriched with delicate moldings, completes this exquisite composition.

This fireplace was carefully dismantled from a charming abandoned stone house in French Vendée. The quality of the salvaged pieces suggests that it was likely owned by a noble family in the 18th century.
