Louis XIII style fireplace with large keystone lintel in weathered yellow stone

This old Louis XIII style fireplace in weathered yellow stone is a large reclaimed mantel in carved natural limestone featuring a large hearth opening.

This fireplace has a thick keystone lintel animated with an elongated molded median cartouche. This long and massive lintel rests on bedsteads, themselves supported by a pair of tall and thin legs in console sitting on some cubic bases.
The thick overhanging shelf is nicely molded.
The trumeau in veneering stones is topped by a thin molded cornice.

This antique fireplace is a unique mantel sold as such. Its warm colors will brighten up your living room while adding a touch of authenticity and charm.
