Antique Louis XVI style gray marble mantle

Antique mantle made of gray marble with some fine white veins. This beautiful mantle of the 19th century features a Louis XVI style.

A fine molded shelf rests delicately on a nicely decorated rectangular lintel. The lintel offers a beautiful engraved panel in the center and 2 finely hand-carved triglyphs (ornament in relief related to Antique architecture) above the jambs. These jambs are straight and have beautiful finger flutes. They rest on foot blocks.
